ORGANIZATIONAL
DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE
Organizational Design – Worked with senior management
and department heads to develop metrics to evaluate departmental and
organizational performance.
Organizational Change – Performed assessment
of organizational change readiness that drove the development and implementation
of organizational change strategies that facilitated the combination
of two $4 million businesses. Utilized a number of effective change
strategies including communication, involvement, and empowerment techniques,
which resulted in zero employee turn-over.
Strategic Planning – Built the financial backbone
leading to the development of the initial strategic plan for a startup
telecommunications business. This information was subsequently used
in investor negotiations, as well as the development of the first two-year
budget.
Team Building – Built work-teams, created and
maintained buy-in among interdepartmental restructuring team using formal
communication and implementation plans. Mentored facility management
that led to the development of increased employee commitment. Headed
employee committees involved in developmental change, process improvement
and volunteerism.
Group Facilitation/ Instruction - Facilitated small
group and large group instruction. Developed the curriculum and provided
undergraduate instruction to 42 students via face-to-face, Internet
based, and multi-media technologies.
Needs Assessment – Utilizing skills needs assessment,
evaluated web-based training for fulfillment of continuing educational
requirements for long-term care health providers. Identified and diagnosed
gaps in leadership alignment and organizational effectiveness.
Knowledge Management – Developed community of
practice among information technology department with the rollout of
a web-based bulletin board.
Culture Change – Led the integration of the financial
and administrative operations of two businesses into one acquiring business.
Process Improvement and Organizational Learning – Identified,
designed, and implemented initiatives to improve organizational leadership
and organizational effectiveness.
Relationship Building – Facilitated interdepartmental
communications, among corporate offices via volunteer activities sponsored
by the Employee Activity Committee.
Executive Coaching – Mentored company presidents
on humanistic development processes for management teams. Provided feedback
to owner/manager regarding employee interactions yielding alignment
between leadership and the employees.
Training and Development – Used impact analysis
to steer the development and delivery of custom training curriculum
based on adult-learning theories. Delivered customized and impromptu
training covering a variety of business related topics.
Assessment and Program Evaluation – Program Evaluation
of new resiliency program for teens at-risk. Surveyed training participants
and analyzed collected dataset, providing suggestions for improvement.
Developed evaluation plan to redesign operational processes. Used risk
analysis to determine appropriate and feasible approaches to successful
process implementation. Evaluated communication gaps for improvement.
